Awesome news! Can someone please answer me that? This should "create" the conditions for which the timing of the missiles will not allow you to be shot by an RPG. You can eliminate all the enemies in the quickest possible way by shooting them with the machineguns.
Remember that while you are shooting you can move the aim of the machinegun more slowly than while you are not shooting. Other than this, just keep firing, it's an easy one. Some Berserker enemies.
Try to hit them in the face to stun them and prevent them from approaching you. If none of them is walking towards you, focus on the already-stunned ones to kill them. Time is strict, but with the machinegun you should finish with a decent margin of advantage more than 5 seconds on the target time, without doing anything particularly difficult. This mission can be frustrating, because not only you must only use ranged Sub-Weapons, but you also can't parry and the enemies will be close to you all the time.
You'll be using Homing Missiles through the whole mission. Like in the previous mission, if you stand still where a Homing Missile is it will continuously re-spawn and Raiden will pick it up again. From where you start, get the Homing Missile closest to you, then hop past the barricades and go left to find another Homing Missile. Stand still here, and start firing at the enemies in the area three in total, for now , starting with the two that are running towards you.
You will be using quick-shots press and immediately release LB , don't hold it down in this mission, especially in this first phase. After these first two enemies are dead, approach the third one and locate the Homing Missile by the wall next to him. Stand where the Homing Missile is and eliminate him. Many more Cyborgs will spawn afterwards; keep firing quick-shots and they will go down rather quickly. Immediately as the last Cyborg falls, pick up any Homing Missiles around you and enter aim mode hold down LB pointing at the ramp ahead.
As soon as the "red barricade" disappears, four Tripods will spawn: fire a Homing Missile at them before they can get away, or you'll have to chase them down later, one by one!
In the next area you'll have to defeat the hardest group of this mission. There are two RPG enemies, and two fast melee fighters, in addition to a bunch of Tripods that will harmlessly run around the area.
Ignore the Tripods for now, and approach the next area in aim mode. As soon as you see an RPG soldier spawning, fire a rocket at him, and then follow him wherever he lands after the explosion to fire another quick-shot in his face.
Restock on Homing Missiles if necessary have at least three of them , then quick-shot the second RPG soldier after running around a bit to lose, hopefully, the melee-fighting enemies. Then quick-shoot to death the melee fighters. As for the Tripods, the last ones to die in this area, wait for them on the sides of the area for example, in the upper-right corner from the central blocks : you want to shoot them with Homing Missiles when they are walking as straight as possible, since the Homing Missile will likely fail to chase them if they are running in a non-straight pattern.
So, again, do your best to intercept them when they walk straight towards or away from you. The last group of enemies is not particularly hard: a couple of Tripods, a couple of Raptors and, therefore, two more Tripods that can potentially spawn after the Raptors are defeated , and an Irving. Restock on Homing Missiles as soon as the fight starts, and then make your way to the end of the mission by quick-shooting them as fast as Raidenly possible.
Time in this mission is not "too" strict, and it depends heavily on your performance in the central fight. If you eliminate the two RPG enemies early on, and you don't waste too much time to defeat the running Tripods, the target time should be easily achieved. Ten-minutes-long mission This is arguably the hardest VR Mission in the game, and possibly one of the hardest tasks for an achievement hunter in this game.
Worry not though: if lady luck assists you, or if you just practice a bit, this mission isn't all that bad. First of all, the target time is very generous.
This compensates for the fact that the mission is played on Revengeance difficulty, which means that you basically instant-die from every hit except grabs and fire attacks. It's very possible to finish the mission in less than 4 minutes, although 7 minutes is a more "average" time. With the safest possible approaches and slowest killing methods , you should still have a minute or two left before being in a hurry for the target time. The key to this mission, as anything on Revengeance difficulty, is the parry-counter.
You'll be using it to defeat most of the enemies. Your second best friend will be the Sai, but only for the last fight maybe also for the third one. There are five waves of enemies to defeat. Many Tripods and an Irving. Stand still and parry the usual charge attack of the Irving; then eliminate him with an execution-Zandatsu. Easy one. Be careful though: the Tripods are incredibly aggressive on Revengeance, and they will always grab you if you drop your guards down for even just a moment.
Therefore, keep tapping Y with the Pole-Arm to "clean up" your surrounding if they approach you. The second fight consists of two Mastiffs and more Tripods. Ninja-Run around and away from the Mastiffs, and hopefully they will do their "jump off the wall" attack, which is very easy to parry-counter.
Their "chase and kick" attack is another good source for parry-counters. Give them priority, finish them off with execution-Zandatsu after the counter, and then mop up the Tripods.
When you are about to kill the last enemy of this wave a Tripod most of the time , switch to the Pincer Blades. Run to a "short" side of the room the shape of the room is rectangular; you want to reach the shorter side and charge the Pincer Blades attack.
The next enemies Tripods, a Fenrir and two Berserkers may spawn on your side of the room or on the other short side of the room. It doesn't really matter where they spawn, it's okay either way besides, it's basically impossible to keep track of your position after two fights like those you've just been through.
If they spawn where you are, release the charged attack on the Fenrir. Otherwise keep the camera towards the wall i. Release the charge as soon as they appear, and with some luck you will hit many of them at once. There are two ways to properly fight this group of enemies after this first "pre-emptive" strike which you may want to avoid actually, since it's not always safe; it is, most of the time, but not always.
One method consists in killing the Fenrir as soon as possible, and is what I suggest to do. Personally, I find the "friendly fire kills" method much less reliable and more risky than the approach where you kill Fenrir first. It does lead to a faster end of the fight, but then again there is plenty of time to complete the mission more safely, so why being hasty? Moreover, once the Fenrir is dead you can pretty much celebrate your success in the mission, since he's the last danger you'll have to face.
Regarding the kill of the Fenrir, the only way to proceed, as usual, is with a parry-counter. Stand in a corner of the room, and keep the camera focused on the walls. This should prevent the enemies from attacking you from afar.
The Fenrir should therefore come up on the screen and it will use its parry-counter-able attacks homing attack, tail combination most of the time.
Remember that, as usual, you want to "sandwich" the enemy between you and the wall, so that he can't step back and evade your counter. Alternatively, you can try to run away from the Fenrir to trigger his firing attack. This is very risky, as already explained, but after the attack is over the Fenrir will have a "cooldown" period during which you can devastate him with attacks, and possibly attack him so quickly that an execution will become available.
Moreover, during the shooting the Fenrir will probably kill some of the other enemies too anyway. Once again, I prefer the parry-counter approach on the Fenrir over anything else.
It's simply the quickest way of knowing if you're going to succeed or fail: if you succeed you've basically already scored a first-rank-time on the mission; if you fail, well, try again. Assuming that the Fenrir is dead and there are still all the other enemies alive, the next thing you will do is mopping up the Tripods from the area: perform a single Y attack with the Pole-Arm, and jump-cancel it as soon as the enemies are closing-by too much.
This will eventually kill all the Tripods. Then eliminate the Berserkers. You can use two methods: one is with the Sai safe, but really slow , and consists of stunning one of them with the charged Sai attack, then cancel the pull of the Sai to keep him stunned, lure the other one away from him, and hit with a quick combo the one that was stunned when they are far from each other. The other method, more advisable, is to attack with the non-charged attacks of the Pincer Blades, and immediately cancel the attack as soon as the hit connects use a dodge to cancel the attack.
This should deal damage more quickly, possibly to both of them, and still leave you safe. Probably the only fight where you won't take damage in this entire mission. Use the charged Sai attacks to keep him stunned, and hit him with light attacks after stunning him with the Sai.
The Sai will be recharged by the time he recovers, so you can use it again and he will be permanently stunned and completely unable to react. It will take a while, but he will go down eventually. Sky High may speed up the killing a bit, but feel free to use just simple combos with the HF Blade.
Somehow frustrating mission, since you may kill your enemies before having a chance at the Zandatsu. Hopefully this won't happen, but be ready to some cheap fails. The first enemy is a single Fenrir; nothing complicated here, just keep attacking relentlessly to trigger an execution opportunity. Slide Tackle followed by an Y attack done twice will knock him down, as you should know by now, and Sky High works great too.
A series of quick light melee attacks also work great. The next enemies will be two Armored Cyborgs and two Berserkers. Moreover, another Fenrir will be on the platform in the middle of the second area, and he will come down to fight if you jump up there or if you kill two enemies or simply after a fixed amount of time. He usually won't join the fight not early on anyway if you go fighting the other four enemies behind the platform where the Fenrir is.
First of all of course you will need to eliminate the Armored Cyborgs: they can be parry-countered after a rather long "duel" of parries and counters, but you'll get the timing right after a few attempts.
Note that you may stun other enemies too while parry-countering their attacks. If this happens, don't miss the opportunity and immediately perform executions on any stunned enemy, especially if it's one of the Berserkers! Then you will eliminate the Berserkers. If the Fenrir came down by now though, make sure to focus your attention on him first again, suppress him with an execution triggered with relentless attacks.
The Berserkers will go down slowly since you can't parry-counter them, and it's hard to trigger executions on them with consecutive attacks since they always walk together and they can't be staggered easily. The best idea is probably to use the Sai stun on one of them and attack like explained for the previous mission.
You may prefer the "other" approach though: Pincer Blades non-charged attacks followed by a dodge to cancel the attack and keep Raiden safe. For each one you find, they'll unlock a mission in VR mode. Take note that each one corresponds to the mission number — you don't have to obtain them in a certain order! You can't miss this one. Boris will point this out to you. It's in the second building you enter after the Gekkos , smack-dab in the middle.
After defeating the Hammerhead, make your way to the small street where Civilian 2 is. You'll find a small ledge on the left side of the alley.
Wall-jump to the roof of the building and follow the path to the end — it's there. When you enter the hotel after acquiring the ID hand from the guard or breaking open the gate , scout for an opened-room on the first floor; it's in the corner inside. It's at the bottom of the refining tower just before your fight with Mistral. Take the set of stairs down instead of the ones leading up.
After your first encounter with a Mastiff, proceed to the next section. On the right is a door you can slash open, which leads to a room containing it. Once you save George from the Raptors, head in the next room. It's in plain sight near some cardboard boxes. Win the battle against the GRAD, then head through a couple of doors into a small room.
